This round is amazing i got my first deer with it i got him right in the heart. He jumped maybe 2 feet in the air then came crashing down then never moved again. Thanks Remington for making this good priced and a deer stopping round.

This is the only bullet I have used for years. This year I dropped a 12 pointer at around 125 yards. He dropped in his tracks as have all the half dozen others in prior seasons. I have total confidence in this round.

I have this ammo for my Remington 721. At a hundred yds i was using a bench and my elbows for support and i got a 2 inch group. I'm sure if i had a nice scope and i shot prone with sandbags sub MOA groups would be easy. As for power this round does very well. I haven't shot anything alive with it, but if you fill cans or bottles with water and shoot um there will be nothing left. Also at a hundred yds 12 inch diameter plates an inch thick this round will make them dance. I'm sure any deer or other wild game will not move far when hit with this round.

I've used the round nose core lokt soft points since I started hunting twenty two years ago, first a 170 grain .30-.30 round then a 180 grain in my .30-06. I've never lost an animal rifle hunting, deer or elk . That's the best endorsement I can give this round. I was told before I went elk hunting the first time that my .30-06 wasn't enough gun for elk and these rounds wouldn't cut it. I've went to Idaho twice and shot two big bulls that didn't go 100 yards between them. I come from a hunting family and we all use this round. They are simply fantastic.

I have used this ammunition for years. I have also reloaded this bullet in 30-06 and 300 winchester magnum for about 15 years, now. It shoots into about 0.8in at 100 yds, and inside 2 abd 1/2 in. at 300 yds. I don't know how many deer I and my hunting buddies have killed with this bullet in 30-06. We all shoot the same load, and it stays inside an inch at 100yd for all our rifles. We've recorded one shot kills at 400+yds with it. It does 2950 to 3000 in my 300, and about 2700 in the -06. It's a great bullet.

I started hunting with my
I started hunting with my dad when I was 10. I am now 63 and at first I tried other brands with lots of failure. When I switched to these bullets the game changed! Other brands literally shoot circles around it because it always shoots dead center. I have won numerous turkey shoots with it and have killed more deer with them than I can remember. When it comes to feeding my family with venison( which I have done for 40+ years), I will use nothing else!

i used this shell last year and it was amazeing i shot a doe at 300 yrds and it droped in its tracks never took a step or moved she expired right away then the second doe i took that season same thing i use a 180 grain shell remington corelokt in my remington 7600 30-06 i will be useing it for years to come and if you were smart you would too
