I bought a box of these shells for my sons Rossi 243 what a great shell three years ago he shot a buck with these bullets at a hundred yards. The deer droped in his tracks never moved

I found this ammo to be e
I found this ammo to be extremely accurate out of my Ruger M77 mark II. .5 inch groups at 100 yards. Less recoil than the light mags as advertised. Shot 190 lb buck in the front shoulder and the bullet terminated without entering the chest cavity. Dead deer though.

Is this a good round for a lever action .243?
Answer:
It depends on if your lever action rifles uses a tube or box magazine. This will work well if you have a model such the Henry Long Ranger, that uses a box magazine. However, I recommend ammunition loaded with flat/blunt tip or round nose bullets for lever action rifles that have a tubular magazine.
