My son shot his whitetail
My son shot his whitetail last year using this round from his bolt action Savage. The deer dropped in its tracks. Consistent bulleyes at 100 yds. Absolutely a great cartridge.

Instant drop on a 300 pou
Instant drop on a 300 pound boar from a neck shot at ~250 yards. Hit right were I was aiming. Excellent round for long range.

I just took my nice 5x5 b
I just took my nice 5x5 buck today with these rounds. Lost of damage, but NO loss of meat. Small hole going in, and the hole coming out was smaller than my pinky finger. Very fast bullet, very nice, very clean kill. You wont be disappointed.

This round certainly gets
This round certainly gets the job done. Reasonably priced and has substantial stopping power. The only negative is the percision of the round. In a mounted test the bullet had two to three inch patterns at 100 yards and three to seven inch patterns at 200. The soft lead tip gets dinged easily, and if it happens, the bullet becomes moderately inaccurate. Unfortuinately, most of the soft tips are dinged coming right out of the box. Overall, I had great performance putting down both a mule and whitetail last year at about 100 yards. Both deer fell instantly upon impact, which goes to show the stopping power.

My father and uncles have
My father and uncles have used this round. The penetration is awful. Ive seen Deer with almost their whole rib cage on one side gone and not more than a scratch on the other side. Again I like penetration. Dont get me wrong they never had a deer get away or go far but again I like to know that I have a cartridge that will have the penetration when I need It.
