I have no real issues with this useful tool, other than the fact that is has a hard fit on the Magpul 1st Gen front flip-sight. I bought in bulk for a useful gift.

It did what it was designed to do, and worked like it was supposed to. Small enough to get lost, so I'd recommend tying a lanyard or something through the hole.

If you have an AR type weapon with the standard F-marked front sight, this tool is for you. Why use the tip of a bullet (like we did when I was in the Army) to adjust one click at a time, when you can use this tool and do it all in one turn. It's a nice item to have.

I tried this sight tool on all of my ARs with front sights and tried it on some of our issued weapons. It will not depress the detent down enough to move the sight. Apparently I got one where the tabs aren't long enough or something. I guess my 'fix' is to file it down until the tabs are long enough. Would've made my own out of round stock and saved the $ this thing cost.

I purchased this to adjust the front sight on a SCAR 17s since the Target Sports tool I had would not fit through the hole in the hooded sight. It works perfectly with no modification. The prongs are a bit beefier than those on the Target Sports model but the finish isn't quite as nice. The lanyard hole is a nice touch. Because of the finish, if 4-1/2 stars was an option, that would be what I would have given it.

Simple, and it does work. It gets 4 bullets from me for being a very tight fit, making me wonder about wear on the ears of my sight. I like my anodized black factory finish to stay nice and black. But other than that it's dandy. The prongs can also be used to tap out the firing pin retainer on my AR-15. A good by if you know your ears have plenty of room. This sight has a slightly more expensive sight tool though, and it looks smaller and more universal.

This is a solid little tool, but the prongs are too thick for use. Maybe it would work on an older, more worn out weapon than mine, but with the tight tolerances on my rifle, this tool just doesn't cut it. I imagine I could grind down the prongs a bit, but a small nail always does the trick.

I noticed this tool had great reviews, but mine didn't work on the flip up sight I ordered from CTD. I ground it down a pinch to make it fit in between the ears, on the sight. The problem could have beem my front sight, but Tapco could probably make it a bit thinner and more universal.

If you can sneak this into your order then do it! Most places sell them for more. And it's good to have. I do have Magpul MBUS sights, but I use this tool mainly to adjust the sights. I work on my team's ARs, so it comes in handy.

I am very pleased with my purchase. Tool makes it fast and easy to adjust the front sight. You cannot go to the rifle range without this great little tool. It will also fit on a key chain, which makes it that much better. Less chance of losing the tool or forgetting it at home.

A great tool, but for my Magpul back-up sights, I had to use some pliers to move out the prongs, so it would wrap around the sight post. Once I did that it worked perfectly.
