A Classic "Tube Gun" Style Design Chock-Full of Modern Upgrades

The folks at Sol Invictus Arms are perhaps best known for their reproduction of the legendary AA-12 shotgun, and now they are proud to introduce an all new semi-automatic pistol that is packed to the gills with modularity. The TAC-9 is their interpretation of a tube gun for the modern age. Starting with the action, it utilizes direct blowback and has the entire action housed in the upper receiver. Because of this, there is no need for a traditional buffer system! However, the rear of the gun includes buffer tube threads for the optional addition of a buffer tube if you would like to add a pistol brace. Additionally, a picatinny rail adapter comes threaded into these threads so you also have the option to add a side folding arm brace or similar Picatinny-compatible option. The TAC-9's all-steel bolt, front trunnion, and steel upper receiver all feature a Nitride finish for excellent corrosion and wear resistance. This pistol utilizes a standard AR-15 fire control group, and because the lower is milled out like a standard AR-15 trigger pocket, you can even drop in many of your favorite AR-15 triggers! It even uses Glock pattern magazines, so additional magazines are plentiful and easy to find! A simple yet highly versatile little gun, the TAC-9 is perfectly suited for home defense or plinking at the range.
