As the winner of Turkey's domestic pistol project, the SAR 9 is the new primary service pistol of the Turkish armed forces. It was designed from start to finish to function at the highest level, even in the most adverse conditions. During its testing, the SAR 9 powered through 150,000 rounds of test firing, simulated desert and arctic conditions, drop tests, and more. This handgun is built on a polymer frame that has optional backstraps and side plates to help the gun fit all hand shapes and sizes comfortably. This new compact version of the SAR 9 keeps most of the features of the full size version, but focuses a bit more on concealability. This striker fired pistol uses a double stack magazine that holds 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition and have a highly comfortable and ergonomic grip and grip angle. Slide serrations allow the shooter to chamber a round, diagnose malfunctions, and perform press checks with ease. And with its shorter grip and barrel length, this compact pistol is easier to conceal but still has the capacity of many full size 9mm pistols!
