The Ruger SR22 Semi Auto Pistol is Ruger's take on the tactical rimfire trainer, and it is a great pistol. Unlike other, pot-metal pistols the Ruger slide is made from aerospace-grade aluminum and the barrel is stainless steel, giving the little rimfire classic ruggedness that you expect from the Ruger brand.The SR22 is chambered in the extremely popular .22 Long Rifle cartridge. This legendary plinking round has long been the favorite of hunters and target shooters alike. The low recoil and cost effective nature of the cartridge make it ideal plinking cartridge.
