Ruger SR1911 Commander .45 ACP Stainless Steel 1911 Semi-Automatic Pistol

The Ruger SR1911 is a classically styled pistol based on John Browning's famous design, constructed with all of the modern manufacturing advances that you have come to expect from Ruger. Amazingly accurate, extremely durable and phenomenally reliable, the SR1911 is 100% American, made in American factories with American workers.

The Original 1911 Series 70 has a slim traditional design that provides easy takedown and reassembly. The advanced CNC machining produces a precision slide-to-frame fit, resulting in smooth-as-silk slide travel and superior overall performance. The stainless steel barrel and bushing are produced from the same high-quality bar stock, on the same machine, at the same time, for an exceptional match. It has positive barrel lock-up, allowing for extreme accuracy right out of the box. This 1911 features an oversized ejection port and extended magazine release to facilitate excellent competition performance. It has a lightweight skeletonized hammer for faster cycling and the skeletonized trigger has an adjustable over-travel stop, providing a light crisp trigger pull with a positive reset. The Novack three-dot sights include a LoMount Carry rear sight with a standard front sight to provide rapid target acquisition. The oversized beavertail grip safety and extended thumb safety provide excellent function and reliability. There is a visual inspection port to confirm if the chamber is loaded or unloaded.
