WOW! CTD's service is GREAT. I am truly impressed with how quickly they fill and ship orders. Now for the ammo. After putting a 100 rounds through my Glock 30, here are my findings. This ammo burns cleanly, is very accurate and the bullet expands as it should. All features you'd expect from Hornady. I will order again.

Another great Hornady sel
Another great Hornady self defense round, I tested this against the Hornady +P rounds, which I like a little better, but this round gives a little less wrist twist that is better for repeat follow up shots. I would recommend you buy both and make up your own mind. I would carry either one in my carry weapon. Try it.

Ok, we all know how relia
Ok, we all know how reliable Hornady ammunition is, regardless of caliber. My comment is about Cheaper Than Dirt. I swear that there is someone who's main job is to sit at the computer screen and wait for you to submit your order. Once that order is submitted, this guy/gal grabs your product, and hops in his/her car to drive overnight so it is on your doorstep the next day. I have never paid for more than ground shipping yet, CTD always has my product to me within 2 days. Excellent work!

Hornady makes outstanding
Hornady makes outstanding defensive ammo. This performs well in my SA XD .45ACP 4'. It is a great defensive round without resorting to the heavy recoil and flash of +P ammo. Also like the 9mm Luger,non +P 124 gr. out of my S&W 915,very accurate with great penetration. If your gun does not perform well with this ammo it is the gun or your shooting.

I purchased the 200gr XTP
I purchased the 200gr XTP for defensive carry in my CCW. I carry a Glock 30, and recently bought a Kimber Ultra Covert II. In both guns, the 200gr XTP is EXTREMELY accurate for such a short barrel, and reliably feeds, even in a new 1911 that is notorious for requiring a lengthy break in period. Great round! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good self defense round to carry in a short barreled semi-auto!
