The 30-30 Winchester is one of the finest cartridges for hunting in the brush (and other environments where long-distance shots simply aren’t feasible). If you’re looking for 30-30 that will serve you well – wherever you hunt – then Federal Power-Shok will win your approval.

This cartridge’s 170 grain bullet is a jacketed soft point, with a round nose profile that (A) sits safely in a lever-action rifle’s magazine, and (B) punches an injurious entry wound into its target. The JSP’s tough copper shell and unjacketed lead tip work in tandem to deliver reliably wide terminal expansion – all that is needed to defeat any deer.

Upon attaining its advertised muzzle velocity, this round’s bullet exhibits a .254 G1 BC. Striking energy at 200 yards is 990 ft lbs: pretty much the exact threshold for taking whitetail. If you zero at 100 yards, drop at 200 should be approximately -8.4” (assuming sights are 1.5” above the bore line).

Made in Minnesota with new reloadable brass cases. Ten individual boxes per flat.
