The VSKA (vis-kuh) AK-47 from Century Arms takes the classic AK platform and gives it an American twist. The base receiver is the same steel construction that can be found on your standard AK. The barrel is given a nice upgrade with a 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium barrel giving the barrel superior wear characteristics. the end of the muzzle is threaded for 14x1 LH opening it up for a variety of standard AK muzzle accessories and comes with a muzzle brake to help control the recoil impulse. The furniture has been updated with the addition of a synthetic folding stock that makes for a more convenient way to store the rifle on the go. The Forend of the rifle also comes with a Magpul synthetic handguard for an long lasting solution that has a options for adding accessories.
