When You Want Maximum Accuracy You Want the X-Bolt Target MAX

Capable of exceptional accuracy, the Browning X-Bolt Target MAX rifle features a Composite MAX stock with a 26" fluted, heavy bull barrel, and a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake which helps reduce recoil. The foundation of the X-Bolt Target MAX rifle is a stiffer, heavier, full-diameter receiver that helps stabilize the rifle. An alignment flat is machined into the receiver to aid in scope alignment/leveling. The recoil lug is pinned to the receiver to ensure perfect orientation if the barrel needs to be replaced. The included Picatinny optics rail has four oversize 8-40 screws and an additional steel pin that secures the rail to the receiver. The bolt features a longer handle to reduce the force needed to open the bolt. For long-range shooters having an adjustable stock is a must. The adjustable MAX stock gives you the versatility to customize the fit of the rifle to your unique needs. The comb is height adjustable to put your eye in perfect alignment with your scope. Length of pull spacers are also included. The vertical pistol grip is comfortable standing, seated and prone and allows for an easy reach from the finger to the trigger. A Picatinny rail on the bottom of the forearm is included and makes attaching today's precision, rail-mounted bipods a snap. The rail is also easily removable and three secure mounting points make it easy to mount the popular ARCA/Swiss rail (not included). To improve shooter comfort and accuracy, the X-Bolt MAX has an Inflex 2, large recoil pad. When a Browning with the Inflex recoil pad is fired, the pad collapses, but instead of simply moving to the rear, directional ribs pull the comb down and away from your face for even greater shooting comfort and faster follow-ups. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped for the Browning X-Lock scope mounting system which uses 4 screws instead of 2 screws for consistency. A Bolt Unlock Button is integrated into the bolt which allows you to check the condition of the rifle while the tang-mounted safety is still engaged. The short 60-degree bolt throw is fast cycling and allows for quick loading without interference from the scope. An all-new, patent-pending Browning Target DLX Trigger brings the light touch you need for accurate shooting. This three-lever design has zero creep, zero take-up, zero overtravel and a glass-like break. The Target DLX is adjustable with a range of 2 to 3.3 pounds and comes factory set at 2.5 lbs. For long-range competition or long-range hunting, the X-Bolt Target MAX rifle is another great option from Browning.
