The stock sits a bit loose on the buffer tube but it does not impact stability. Instead it helps reduce recoil buy allowing the rifle to sink into the stock. Over all good product, would recommend if your okay with it being a little loose.

One draw back but iterate very nice
It's gotta be used fully extended, in order to charge the charging handle with the adjustable cheek stock, but with it all set up, it's very quick to get sight picture. Reduced felt recoil dramatically!

Well worth the money
Bought this stock for my Mossberg 464 SPX 30-30 lever gun. I added a scope and needed a much higher cheek weld than the factory stock provided. While this stock supplies much more, it’s not quite enough for my needs so I’ll be adding some adhesive padding to give me the little extra that I need for my 50mm and medium rise mounts. For an AR application, this would work great and provide more than enough adjustment.

VR80 Upgrade.
I put this stock on my RIA VR80 Shotgun. I also had to change the buffer tube to a Mil-Spec buffer tube to get it to fit but it was worth it. Feels great, Looks great and fit prefect. I love it.

Nice stock
Pretty good stock. My only complaint is the cheek rest seems to slip when hand tightened down. Hopefully this was just my mistake just playing with it before being permanently set up on the wife's 6.8.

Comfortable
Very comfortable on my shoulder. Not gonna lie, the adjustable cheek rest got in the way for me, I found I needed the stock extended fully to prevent it interfering with the charging handle. It doesn't lend itself to be easily removed as the thumb nuts screw onto studs that remain protruding from either side, and removing those looked to be a pain, so I left it. I would have took off a star but the thing is so comfortable to shoot with. It really softens the recoil.

It will fit any AR platform rifle with a standard mil-spec carbine receiver extension/buffer tube. It is not compatible with commercial spec carbine receiver extension/buffer tubes.

I put this on my s&w m&p sport. It will not collapse all the way. With it collapsed at its lowest point I cannot pull the bolt all the way. Do I need a different buffer tube and spring?

The buffer tube on the S&W Sport II is mil-spec diameter, and so is the XTS-104 Stock. It is not uncommon for the beefier stocks with cheek risers to interfere with the charging handle. Changing your buffer tube with a different mil-spec buffer tube will not change this fact. You may not be able to collapse the stock to the lowest point utilizing this stock.
