I'm currently putting together an AR Pistol and this works just like it should in my upper receiver. Good buy, fit great.

The forward assist spring
The forward assist spring pin is not a role pinn as it should be, it is a metal dowl that is twice the diameter of the hole on the upper receiver. So needless to say I was not able to install it.cheaper than dirt rep was professional and gave me the number to contact DMA. The rep at DMA was not helpful.she said I can pay to ship the part back and then they would ship me a new part instead of just shipping me the one little role pinn I need. Very disappointing.
