XTS AR-15 lower parts kit
I do not recommend buying this kit....after completing the build, the safety selector switch is so out of spec, I still can not get the lower the come out of safety because the detent indention for safety was drilled so deep that it is literally almost out the other side of the sector!!!

XTS lower parts kit
I got around to installing that XTS trigger group in a lower that had a trigger that was less than satisfactory. Man, what a waste of time. The XTS was a lot worse than the factory trigger in the rifle. I will not be buying any more XTS of anything. Very disappointing. That trigger will be my experiment and see if I can clean up the surfaces to get it to work like it was suppose to. If not I’ll use them as weights for my fishing line.

I greased everything and installed it in a Anderson lower. Everything fit perfectly and it works flawlessly .When I install the takedown pins I press the spring down hold it in place with a pin thru the grease hole. Works great

This is definitely one of those hidden deals that you should not miss. This LPK is not fancy, but all the parts are nicely finished and the trigger/hammer contact surfaces are appropriately polished/deburred. I gave it 5 stars because the finish is far better than you'd expect for such a discounted kit.It came in a tiny, fugly brown paper box that made me worried at first, and the parts are stuffed into tiny zip bags. Don't get this if you need your parts degreased and labeled. If you have built at least one lower before, you'll be fine. I bought 4 of these and have installed 2 - they perform identically.The trigger and hammer are oiled, the detents are bright and clean, and the springs are straight. Everything in this looks Mil-Spec and runs great on first install. I toss the roll pins and use steel pins with LocTite, so I don't know how they fit. The grip is clean and identical to other surplus/Mil-Spec parts. It comes with a slotted screw instead of a hex, so be aware of that before you start.The first few rounds were a little gritty, so I did the "paracord trick" on the hammer a few times with a tiny dab of cutting oil to smooth it out (be absolutely sure you clean all the oil out before installing with an upper, especially around the sear).The only issue I have is the take-down pins. The coating is a little rough, but a few seconds with emory cloth and a drop of M1 had them running perfectly smooth.I really liked the trigger guard, as I'm used to LPKs coming with a flat version. This one does not have a detent, but to its credit does have a threaded front pin. Again, I did not use the roll pin on this. My kit came with an allen wrench, too.When this is on sale, stock up. It's cheaper than many premium "oops" kits, and you'll have absolutely everything with you. If you don't need a blister pack or instructions, you'll do great. I'm ordering another handful to keep in the range bag in case other people need repairs.

Out of spec disconnector, otherwise decent kit for the price
Out of spec disconnector (glad I had spare). Otherwise parts were decent. Not a fan of the slotted grip screws. Mine came with an oversize trigger guard, which i prefer. I'd probably buy again for the cheap price, just knowing I might have to replace the disconnector.

Be sure to pick up the strike industrys AR15 jig to fine tune your trigger group.
Quality of materials could be a touch better in some components,but there still fine. I used it to setup up my strike industrys jig for fine tuneing on the trigger group. Very happy with them both!

cheap parts
I took a chance on this since it had decent ratings, but I was let down. The mag catch scratches my magazines and doesn't hold my newest pmags. The take down pins are difficult to move off the detents. I've just ordered a higher quality lower parts kit and will swap out everything.

Would not function, defective parts.
When I finally got to assemble my lower I was disappointed to find the disconnector wouldn't function. Bench testing I found it would not rock on its pivot pin, either the trigger or the disconnector are shaped wrong. With the trigger pulled and drawling the bolt carrier back the trigger would be forced forward in order for the hammer to catch. Not wanting to take the time/expense to return it I tried filing a little off the bottom rear of the disconnector, but was not satisfied with the results. I did not attempt to fire it in this condition. I will now have to buy another set but won't be skimping on price again..

Bought it as an oops kit in case something breaks,at that price who wouldn't. I know i'll get the itch to build another AR so at least I have the kit. To my surprise when I checked it out it had the enhanced trigger guard.

Honest review 16/20
Meh, trigger sounds and feels like I'm rubbing rocks together, I plan to replace with one of those fancy triggers all the cool kids have. All the other parts, the clip release button, the bolty stop, it doesn't buffer anymore, the pins, booger hook keeper outer thing, they all work great. 8/10, would consider buying again if I remember next time.

As good or better then CMMG enhanced lower parts kit. Same mil spec fit, same finish, both equal in all aspects, except this kit comes with slightly oversized trigger guard that looks custom like the one one my Wilson Combat AR. Only difference is this kit is half the price of CMMG.

Okay for the price, but not great.
Bought two of these. One worked perfectly, but the other one had a hammer and trigger that just wouldn't work together, so I substituted in an extra hammer and trigger I already had. Be advised that the trigger guard is of the nonstandard non-hinging bowed type, which I didn't notice when I bought the kits. Swapped in Mil-spec guards and everything else is fine.

A good product
I am new to the AR platform, so in regard to the metals used, level of quality, etc., my opinion might not be up to par with what others could offer as a review. That being said I have successfully populated my lower with all of these parts apart from the handle (having purchased and installed the CQR thumbhole stock from Hera) and my rifle is operating without issues. This product was well packaged, contained all of the components described beyond my less than perfect machining abilities fell in as one would expect. It would have been nice to offer a diagram with the kit, but as there is a already a surplus of information readily available for this platform, I can see why they didn't bother. I would recommend this product to anyone building a budget rifle who is not concerned about the highest possible performance. I went this route because the AR was designed for the military as a standard issue, easy to understand rifle - not meant to be a precision device. Thanks for a great product! Cheers! Cons: No diagram

This is a lower parts kit to complete the build out of a stripped lower receiver. You would still need the buffer assembly and stock. The stripped lower receiver is not included. This LPK does not require an FFL transfer. However a stripped lower receiver is considered 'the gun' so when you order your stripped lower receiver that must be transferred thru an FFL.
