This Tall Weaver Backup Base has two Ghost-Ring Apertures and mounts to any weaver base. If you have a hunting rifle with a weaver sight base and need no gunsmithing required aperture that is .500" above the base, this is the correct back up. This set includes a test front post. Sight is a fast, alternative, open sight that will save your hunt if your scope fails. This also perfect on in-line muzzleloaders when hunting no-scope areas.
