Secondly, it’s loaded with nonmagnetic full metal jacket projectiles. Wolf’s FMJs typically feature cheaper bimetal jackets, which are almost entirely made of steel. This ammo’s FMJs, however, have lead cores with copper jackets, and accordingly do not attract a magnet. So long as a gun range is OK with steel cases, this ammo’s ready for action there.
These range loads’ cases are exactly what you ought to expect of Wolf, though. They are steel: more economical than brass, albeit nonreloadable. Each one features sealant that keeps water from creeping in through its neck and primer pocket, a lacquer coating that provides even greater protection against moisture, and a noncorrosive Berdan primer that doesn’t require extra steps while you’re cleaning your rifle.
