This cartridge’s 123 grain full metal jacket doesn’t have the bimetal jacket Wolf’s practically synonymous with. Its lead core is wrapped in copper, which is why you can trust the FMJ not to attract a magnet. Go ahead and fire this ammo at a gun range that won’t let magnetic bullets inside!

The entire cartridge will attract a magnet, however, because its case is made of steel. Steel cases are great if you’re trying to get away with paying for as little copper as possible. They’re even better when they’re sealed, and lacquered for corrosion resistance. They’re even better still when they’re loaded with noncorrosive primers, which this ammo’s cases most assuredly are.
