Using the new Savage A17
Using the new Savage A17 I have had many misfires (primer strike and no ignition) also they don't have enough power to cycle the action,, have shot multiple brands and they function well, Winchester not recommended,.., SEMPER FI

Excellent round for the 1
Excellent round for the 17hmr. The bullet drop is almost identical to the Winchester Varmint HV, but in a lead free round.

Winchester makes some of
Winchester makes some of the fastest ammo I've tested out of my Savage 93. Too fast to be accurate. The cheaper slower rounds will be more consistent on paper. This may work very well for critters, but not for consistent accurate shooting. Did shoot pretty cleanly though. Along with this box, every Winchester flavor seemed to bring wider and wider groups finishing off with Dynapoint in dead last. This stuff shot a 1.5 inch group @50 yds while Dynapoint produced something like a 1 foot group. Don't use for plinking. Stick with Remington, Federal or CCI.
