Winchester’s USA brand 9mm Luger training ammunition is a bit like vitamins. Both make you stronger; the ammo just happens to make you a stronger shooter, specifically.

This is a real simple little target poker, no two ways about it. Its projectile clears the muzzle of a 4” barrel at a velocity of 1,190 fps. That’s supersonic, which is pretty much the status quo for 9mm bullets that weigh 115 grains or less.

The bullet is a full metal jacket. That’s the plainest bullet you can employ for target practice with a semi-automatic, and the most economical owing to its lack of any features that would have enabled terminal expansion. The FMJ’s only noteworthy feature is its steel-free design. Unlike a Russian-made bullet, it cannot attract a magnet.

Winchester creates this ammunition in the USA using only new brass cases, clean-burning powder, and corrosion-free Boxer-style primers. Twenty boxes per case of 1,000 rounds.
