Don’t just stock up on any old .223 Rem ammunition. Choose ammo that you can trust at the range *and* on the hallowed varmint hunting grounds. Order a FAT case of Winchester Universal Game & Target ammo today!

A full metal jacket bullet? That’s serviceable – but its boring. This round’s boat tail hollow point features the angled base and the uniformly distributed form-fitted lead core it needs to reduce drag and achieve better in-flight stability. The payoff is a more predictable trajectory, as well as higher striking energy throughout the .223’s effective range. And if you’re already accustomed to 55 grains, then this round’s BTHP won’t force you into unfamiliar territory!

Word to the wise: despite its outward appearance, the BTHP *is not* a jacketed hollow point. Terminal expansion isn’t its forte, although it’ll still hit hard enough to kill a varmint very dead (and fragment apart if it strikes with close-range force).

Winchester loads these multitalented cartridges in the USA using nonmagnetic bullets, noncorrosive bang-buttons, and new (yet potentially unpolished) reloadable cases.
