Shot 5 rounds in just under 15 seconds @ 50' through my 11-87 Special Purpose Mag, 18.5' barrel, IC choke. Recoil is a little harder than most comparable rounds, but still manageable. On a B-27 target, approximately 60% of all pellets fell within the 9 ring, 30% in the 8, a few in the 7 ring and one flier in the black. A single round will place all pellets within a 7' circle. This round performed better than comparable rounds for me, through my particular 11-87. negatives: costs a few bucks more, kicks a little harder. All in all, this is my favorite 00buck round for both hunting and defense. ymmv
