Awesome ammo!
Shoots very good and consistent. I will say it feels a little more gassy than the PMC 223 I’ve shot. Maybe the difference in pressures but it’s still very good ammo.

Good ammo for a great price. Used it at the range in the AR yesterday. Doesn’t take long to chew up 100 rounds.

Have a question about this?

This will be displayed next to your question.

Is steel in this ammo?
Answer: Nono!
I now own a Colt AR-15 Magpul rifle. 5.56 caliber rounds should fire correctly? Is there an argument about the.228 Remington rounds?
Answer: If your AR15 is chambered in 5.56 NATO, then this ammo will work well. .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO have similar dimensions, but 5.56 NATO is loaded to higher pressure. If your firearm is chambered in 5.56 NATO, then you can shoot 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. If your firearm is chambered in .223 Remington, then you should only use .223 Remington ammo.
Is this hotter than white box ?
Answer: 5.56 NATO is mil-spec ammunition that only comes in two flavors. M193 55 grain FMJ and M855 62 grain steel core. Per SAMMI spec it's all made to the same military specifications regardless of product line or manufacturer.
Where is Winchester ammo made?
Answer: Winchester ammo is made in the USA.
Is this ammo safe in an M1 Garand?
Answer: The M1 Garand is not chambered in 5.56 NATO, so no, it is not safe to use in an M1 Garand.
is this bullet for ar 15 5.56 NATO wifle?
Answer: Yes, this ammunition is compatible with AR-15 rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO.
