This ammo isn’t made for the U.S. Armed Forces. It’s made for the commercial market, and it only just recently arrived at our warehouse from Winchester’s factory. It’s loaded with new, unblemished and reloadable bass cases, as well as purely noncorrosive Boxer primers.

The 95 grain full metal jacket is your best friend if you’re only shooting stationary targets. This particular round’s 955 fps muzzle velocity couldn’t be more normal for its bullet weight. For context, a Winchester USA .380 Auto round loaded with the same bullet shares the same muzzle velocity as Winchester Service Grade. Magtech loads a .380 95 grain FMJ to a muzzle velocity of 951; Sellier & Bellot, 955 fps; Fiocchi, 960 fps.

Winchester’s pistol bullets are steel-free as a rule. You can fire this ammo without incident at any range that prohibits “magnetic” bullets.
