speed of sound
The Reviewer's Complaint and the Merchant Response are both correct. The speed of sound is highly temperature dependent. Ranging from 1080 fps at a frigid 26 degrees F, 1125 fps @ 68F and 1159 fps @ 100F. At about 35 degrees F and below that temp, this ammo (1090 fps) will break the sound barrier with a sharp crack. Sure, a suppressor will quiet the muzzle blast as the bullet leaves the barrel no matter the speed or temp, but the supersonic bullet crack will then overcome the overall effect of the suppressor. That's mostly the point of shooting subsonic. To make as little noise as you can.

Feed issues
Bought this specifically for an S&W MP-22; had previously run cheap Remington loads through the rifle ... with only 4-5 miss-feeds! Switched to this load and had 4-5 miss feeds today! Not at all impressed!!

Decent ammo
I shot these in my Savage bolt action rifle. They weren't the most accurate rounds, but they all went bang.

I've had worse...
these really aren't as bad as i thought they would be, the price is right and they might be a little dirty but hey, its a .22LR and you get 800 of them, they shoot cans and paper targets really well. great for fun use and plinking.

No accurate.
Spent 300 rounds to get a 2 inch spread at 40 yards. Useless past 25 yards

Speed of sound
Speed of sound is an average of 1080 feet per second. This ammo is advertised at 1090 fps. That doesn't seem to be subsonic.
