It has been my favorite for 30 years of Hi Power competition.

I was really impressed with the ammo. As it turned out, I was able to check the velocity and it was "spot on"!

Was hoping for better consistancy.
I bought these to get comfortable with my new to me ar10, 18 inch barrel, 1-10 twist starting at 100yrd. I am a fairly inexperienced shooter but not that new. I could not get any consistency from these. When I switched to Hornady precision hunter 178gr, I could start to at least see a pattern and start working on my technique within the first few rounds. I will buy again to keep learning.

Gets a bad rap but is quite good ammo
If you actually use this stuff in a decent, mid grade and up rifle it is a great ammunition that can be sub moa rather reliably. The military tests it and it can't pass without being 1moa at 300 yards... thats a 3 inch group with open sights... thats better than most guys need. Through our lr308 it shoots sub moa every time.

Functional...thats about it.
To be fair, my heavy barreled Savage 12fvss might not like this particular ammo, but my 100 yard groups were more like random impacts. Some groups were 5+ inches!. The worst grouping ammo I've fired out of my sub MOA rifle Pros: Shoots more or less where you aim Cons: Never quite shoots exactly where you aim....
