Treat your favorite .45 Long Colt lever-action rifle to something real *special* – ammunition designed specifically for it! Winchester’s American Lever Range line of ammo features the bullet profile lever-action magazines, actions and chambers like best, so you can look forward to all the safe, smooth operation in the world.

This cartridge’s lead flat nose is simple: a classic design good for all things target shooting. Its nose profile helps it engage correctly with the flat surface of a steel target, and its absence of a copper jacket promises safer close-range shooting

The 250 grain bullet hits its advertised 900 fps muzzle velocity when fired from a 20” test barrel. The LFN’s G1 BC clocks in at .163, which stands for 429 ft lbs striking energy at 25 yards; 409 ft lbs at 50 yards; 375 ft lbs at 100. It’s not the fastest flying .45 Colt bullet out there, but it’s certainly not the hardest recoiling, either!
