Not a fan!
I bought this barrel to " upgrade" my 22" aero precision upper build. After it was installed it gave me nothing but problems. Seems to be gas regulation issues. Gun would fail to move bolt far enough to engage hammer, problems with bullet going to battery, and a host of other issues. The original aero precision barrel was reinstalled and the gun works perfectly. Granted it was gas issues, but after a call to wilson combat all they could do was suggest drilling the gas hole out more. It's already larger than the aero precision! Not a fan of wilson combat! Pros: None Cons: Gas ejection issues, round not going to battery

Some quality issues but overall well made.
Overall the barrel seems very well made. Was exactly what I was looking for. There were some quality issues that may be explained by current industry demand but should not have been overlooked. The muzzle threads were poorly machined. Quite large slivers of excess material still attached on the threads that were not cleanly removed after machining. I was able to clean the threads up fairly well with a small file. Not something I would expect a company like Wilson Combat to overlook. I would recommend inspecting before attempting to thread on a muzzle device. Pros: Tight fitting very well made Cons: Some quality control issues

Built into one slick shooting smoke pole. Accurate at ranges farther than my old eyes can see. Pros: Has plenty of "reach" Cons: not much of a brush gun

Will the rifle length gas block extend past a 15 inch handguard?

Yes, the 6.5mm Creedmoor is considered an AR-308 platform caliber.
What bolt is required for proper head space
Answer:
Per Wilson Combat: "Our AR barrels are individually headspaced to a master USGI bolt to .002-003" tolerance. They will work with any quality USGI "Mil-Spec" parkerized bolt without headspacing. Plating or other finishes may add tolerances that decrease headspace. To check headspace properly you must follow the manufacturers recommendations on gauge use. With a clean chamber remove the ejector and extractor from your bolt. Do not slam headspace gauges in your chamber using spring tension or excessive force. Use only gravity or hand pressure to gauge check your chambers."
