no I would not buy from wheeler again
There is no place that I would trust these bits on a firearm. The Hollow Grind is too shallow to run parallel to the depth of most gun screws that I have encountered. Good design is such that they will walk themselves up out of a screw slot thereby shearing the very top of your fine Colt Python gun screw. Pros: Good for anti-gun people that like to destroy Cons: No parallel angles on most flat bits

At inspection this set lo
At inspection this set looks great. Most bits you'll need for gunsmithing. ..... I have broken 2 bits putiing screws in...just today. A customers gun no less. What can I say? I am somewhat disappointed. Wheeler has a pretty good name. Guess we'll see how their customer service.

I have been using this se
I have been using this set for four years now. I am a school certified professional gunsmith and have used Brownells screwdrivers as well. For the money, I prefer these. I have broken bits from both brands, it's going to happen when you use them alot. The magnet in the handles is a bit weak compared to the Brownells, so I use a Brownells handle most of the time. I don't have the problem with the bit riding out of the screw head as a previous review stated. I suppose it could be user error.

Bought this kit to aid in
Bought this kit to aid in my start-up gun smith items and for the money it is what I expected. First time I used a small screw driver bit it bent. Maybe I used too much pressure - and maybe the product is just not the best quality, but overall for the price I can't complain.

Purchased this last month
Purchased this last month. Used this to mount scope rings on my Ruger Mini14 ranch rifle. First, the points on these bits are sloped so much of an angle that they do not seat down in the screw head grove and ride up and out to cause damage to the head. This is on the straight blade and on the torx as well. They should be perfectly Flat sides on the bits up to the points not sloped like some 99cent store tool. They are hard cased bits that will cause a great deal of damage as stated before. Beware. These that I have say 'China' on some of the bits yet the box gives the belief that all of the contents are 100 percent U.S. made. NOT RECOMENDED AT ALL!!!! SPEND THE MONEY AND GET THE REAL PROPER BUT EXPENSIVE BITS TO DO THE JOB LIKE LYMAN OR GO TO A HIGHLY RECOMENDED GUNSMITH. You will Sleep better!
