Nice design and construction, worked well on a 1911 and Sig P226. Really essential tools at a good price.
Great tool! I got mine today and tried it on rear sights on a Sig P226 and a Colt 1911. Heavy, beautifully designed and constructed. Very easy to set up with clear and well illustrated instructions. The Sig was easy as could be, the 1911 put up a fight. With the adjustment wheel as tight as I could get it by hand it hadn't budged but, per instructions, a couple of taps (OK, more like whacks) with a hammer and punch on the pusher block finally convinced it to move along. Way better than trying to whack the sight directly which is how I've been doing it the last 50 years. So 2 for 2 so far and I'm very pleased. I can't believe I was too cheap to buy one of these by now, but thanks, brother, for the great birthday present!

Highly Recommend
First time changing my own sights and this tool performed flawlessly. Only way they could have possibly made it better would be a bit of rubber on the end of the positioning clamps but if you use tape on the slide like the instructions recommend it isn't an issue.
