Works Great!
I used these to mount my BSA Sweet .22 3x9 40mm Scope to my Ruger 10/22 Carbine. Even with a large 40mm diameter scope these rings still let my scope clear the rear iron sight and view them through the rings. Because of this feature they will raise the scope high. I bought a cheek raise here to compensate for that. Also these ring MOUNT TO THE GUN. They screw in THEY DO NOT GO ON RAILS! I like this feature as it's more stable, no chance my scope will move. MAKE SURE YOU USE LOCTITE! I made the mistake of just screwing them in the first time and they got loose after a few shoots. They also have a hole in the top to allow you to access the screw holes beneath when installing. Just make sure you are using a long then screwdriver for that. I just used a cheap $1 set of screwdrivers. The rings are also slightly angled so you can place them forward or backwards. The lets you have more play in how far forward or back you want to mount your scope. I'm not a big fan of the dual straps that you need to screw in to connect the scope to the rings. It's just extra tiny screws to deal with. However you only need to loosen one side to be able to adjust and level the scope before tightening. Now I can practice with the iron sights and use the scope to see my shots or just switch between the 2 sights on fly. Pros: Accurate Cons: Limited Adjustability

Have had these for about
Have had these for about 8 months now and I love them. Let me practice shooting my 10/22 with a scope and with the stock iron sights, and I love it. I was still able to sight the scope in fine, and it has held it steady.

I purchased these U.S. made mounts for my Ruger and they fit absolutely perfect. They hug the receiver very close and the look-through openings are very wide, so you can see alot more of the target or what's around it. The only limitation to looking through them is the size of your scope ends, though I'm using a BSA 4x32 scope and it doesn't feel restrictive at all. At first I wasn't sure about their reliability(before I saw were they were made), but now that I've used them I can tell you they're pretty darn sturdy. Both scope rings each are held together by 4 hardened screws and provide an excellent hold on the scope. They are worth every penny you spend on them.
