Dollar for dollar the best muffs going.
I saw plenty of reviews before buying these, plus the local super gun store carries the complete line of Walker muffs. That was quite an endorsement, so I tossed my aged electronic Silencio's and ordered two pairs of these. Was I ever glad I did. At the range, they slipped comfortably over my ears and felt light and snug. I set the volume control where it actually amplified all normal sounds, so I could clearly hear the voices of the other shooters. The sound quality was superb with no distortion or coloration of tones. I packed my .45 acp and .357 magnum for some heavy duty testing. Each bang from the .45 was well muffled, then the regular sound levels kicked right in after each shot. The big magnum roared away, but my ears stayed well protected from the extreme sound levels. It was a hot day too and I broke sweat all during my two hour session. The muffs stayed in place and remained comfortable. It was almost like walking around while hearing all normal sounds except you could even amplify them with the volume knob if you wanted. Each shooter will quickly find their ideal volume setting then it is hassle free and safe shooting all day long. These easily deserve more than five stars and will definitely enhance your day at the range.

Exceeded my expectations
I've hesitated to buy these thinking they wouldn't really be worth it but they are thin as advertised and stay out of the way. They are snug and don't bounce around when engaging targets on the run. They would be excellent for hunting. Super hero hearing with protection from your boom stick. I was amazed how you can still determine where a noise came from.

Exactly what I wanted
