The pouch itself features a bungee retention system to ensure that the magazine doesn't fall out during movement. The pouch itself is made from tough pack cloth. This magazine pouch will easily secure to vest's, battle belts, packs and bags which utilize the PALS system and as a bonus the front of the pouch is itself a PALS mounting platform.

Will this work with 20 round AR mags?

Will ask 47 mags fit in it?

This was designed for AR15 magazines and may be to small for AK47 magazines. I recommend item # 2-NSTARCVSRMP2925B and 2-BH37CL88BK.
How do the pouches actually attach to my plate carrier? I have a voodoo lightweight plate carrier.
