The VLTOR VIS Fusion is the next evolution of reliable lightweight rock solid monolithic styled upper receivers. This innovative design features a 6013-T6 forged aluminum upper receiver married to a non-removable 6061-T6 extruded aluminum hand guard. The result is a super strong lightweight union that's ready for hard use in the toughest conditions. Since the lower portion of the hand guard is not removable, a panel at the rear of the hand guard allows access for barrel installation and maintenance. It requires the use of the included proprietary barrel nut and wrench, but is compatible with most Mil-Spec AR15 parts and components.
This version of the VIS-KM Fusion features a shell deflector and forward assist already installed with a 12" Key-Mod hand guard that includes a full length picatinny top rail.
