At this time, we offer only the extended length model which was specifically developed to fit the M4 carbine or the CQB (10.3-inch barrel) configured flat top upper receiver assembly. The CASV-EL was designed and manufactured solely for the US Navy. After fulfilling the Navy contracts, Vltor began offering this system to the civilian sector.
This CASV chassis is made entirely of aluminum with exception to the stainless steel mounting hardware. After mounted, the CASV adds less than 1lb to the firearm's overall weight.
