1950s Rifle Oil Brass Container
1950s rifle oiler was in very good shape. Made of brass, not plastic. Leather carry loop on back appears for attachment to the rifle sling. Leather in good shape, Brass cleaned right up. The threads for the oiler snout were good on both ends and I already put some CLP in the reservoir.

A super addition to any Military collection or a high quality brass oiler to use.
Wonderful oiler in fantastic shape. A little Brasso and it will shine like the sun. The leather was soft and in beautiful condition. The snap worked well.A GREAT buy.

Neat little oil bottle
Some corrosion on the brass, as you would expect if it was stored in a leather pouch. No idea where it is from, no markings. Sticker on the plastic bag says "1950's Oil Bottle" so it being from WWII is dubious at best.

Good product but beware the hidden defects.
I purchased 2 oilers to have available on 2 different rifle slings. Both were in very good shape on the exterior leather surface. One of the flaps had a damaged snap. It can not be opened without a prying device. I was disappointed to say the least. The cost of paying for returns increases the overall cost. I’m not willing to do that.
