Is the blank firing attachement the same for the M16 A2 (20 barrel) & Colt Commando (11.5 barrel)?

This item is compatible with 11.5" - 16" M4 Carbines with A1/A2 Flash Suppressor and not for use on rifles with 20" A2 length barrels. It is compatible with the Colt Commando, but not compatible with a 20" barrel model.
Multicaliber, or just 5.56?

It's designed for 5.56. It fits a standard A2 flash hider.
