Have it professionally installed for best results!
To all that have given this rail bad reviews: have a gunsmith install it! They'll be able to mount it in line with the bore and in some cases even rivet it to the receiver. This is my second mount and both have worked flawlessly. Cost: around $50 to professionally install

Have a gunsmith install the plate! Works completely fine with all AK scope mounts!
To all in the comments giving bad reviews: HAVE THIS INSTALLED BY A COMPETENT GUNSMITH! He will set it with the bore correctly and should use RIVETS to set in place not Chinese screws. Costs about $50.

Depends
Make sure it will work. Attempted to put on my Inter ordinance ( IO ) akm247 Sporter and after drilling a hole discovered it will not work on it. Unless I was to do ALOT of Dremel work. The middle bolt is right on the bottom of the bolt rail on the rear there is a added plate (no idea what it's for) that hooks on to the selector and the front , it gets in the way of the magazine

Some directions would have been nice, maybe UTG should start a YouTube channel and show how to install their products?

Although the unit itself
Although the unit itself is strong and well machined, it can only be installed on 1mm stamped receivers due to the short length of the screws. You can not have FCG retaining plates either, only a Shepard's hook. Some dremeling of the magazine guides on the left rail may also be needed.

You will need to have som
You will need to have some gunsmithing skill to install this, in general if you can build an AK you can handle this easily. The screws are short and will only work with 1mm stamped receivers. With that said, you need to dremel the mag guides of the left rail a bit to make room for the front nut. The rear night can fit right with the FCG retraining rod. It is fairly sturdy but you need to make sure your receiver wall is perfectly vertical, even a degree or two off and your scope mount will be off.

*****BUYER BEWARE***** Sc
*****BUYER BEWARE***** Screws are not long enough for a mak-90 stamped receiver, a pain too install, needs to be sold as 'can be made to fit a mak-90' totally disgusted with it. Got it on and don't trust the strength of the way it mounts enough to leave it on. Don't bother buying this, leave your mak stock, don't ruin it!!!

I have the century arms C
I have the century arms C39 ak47 with the milled receiver. After drilling the holes and mounting it up i noticed the screws arent long enough. They barley come out, not enough to even thread the nut. Now have to hunt down some screws that are long enough....

This mount is by far one
This mount is by far one of the simplest, easiest mounts I've ever installed! The instructions were not in my packaging, but a quick look at a internet pic was all I needed! It's an easy mount to install with regular shop tools (drill press, machining mount). Awesome mounting for cheap!

Will this fit the VSKA 47 by century arms?
Answer: Yes this should fit.
Will it fit a yugo m70 ab2?
Answer: Any mount attached to this rail will likely interfere with the M70 AB2 underfolding stock.
does it fit with the aksu-74 (krinkov)?
Answer: Yes it should.
Will it fit on a century arms vsak
Answer: Yes
Many cheaply made rails DO NOT have the clearance cuts on the back for oiling and the slight outward extension of the safety lever's pivot point on the left side of the receiver AND clearance for the stamped receiver's strengthening rivet. That said, does this particular item have these features for the AKM's stamped receiver??
Answer: This side mount clears all the important things. You can clearly see where it mounts in the picture. It is nowhere near the selector pivot pin and well away from the center rivet.
What mounts could I use with this side rail
Answer: Any standard AK scope mount like item ARR-276-023, AKS-631-006 or item 2-MWMI-AKSMG2-R
Is it aluminum or steel?
Answer: The item is steel.
