Specifically designed for a USMC contract, the FOS (Field Observation Scope) features the durability that U.S. Optics rifle scopes are known for, but in a spotting scope configuration. The 15x-40x magnification allows the operator to view targets at extreme distances, and range them at any magnification setting using the first focal plane reticle.
With over 3” of eye relief, the FOS can be used with sun/safety glasses, gas masks and nuclear/biological disaster suits. The small 13” length allows the FOS to be easily transported and stored. Optional ARD and night vision mounts are available as well. The 6061-T6 aluminum construction with a matte black Type III anodizing protects the unit from all the abuse you can put to it.
