BA-259/AM battery originally used in AN/AMT-4 radiosondes carried aloft by balloons for meteorological purposes. This 1960's manufactured battery provides 1.5, 6, and 115 volts of direct current when activated by water. These batteries are eco-friendly, contain no heavy metals, and are extremely lightweight.
