Underwood Ammo uses Nosler bullets in their standard jacketed hollow point loads. They have a tapered copper alloy jacket and provide reliable expansion and maximum accuracy. The casings are nickel plated brass. Nickel plating improves feeding and will not tarnish during storage or when in contact with foreign materials. Like all Underwood Ammo, this round uses flash suppressed powder to help preserve night vision if it is necessary to fire in low light.

Pleasantly surprised
Firing out of a new G20 Gen 4. Indoor range with medium light (what does that mean? I dunno... it wasn't bright...) Low flash, lower than expected recoil. If the info on the box is true RE: fps and energy.... it was a great surprise. Pricy, sure.... less recoil than the range loads I was using. I very rarely write reviews.... mostly I don't care.... this stuff was impressive enough to move me to do so.

It states in the description ( personal defense/ law enforcement) Is this Nosler 200 grain JHP suitable for hunting whitetail deer ? How comparable is it to a Hornady 200 grain XTP ?
Answer:
With proper shot placement you could down a whitetail deer with this ammunition.
