Underwood Ammo in 2013 after seeing a need in the market for better ammunition at a reasonable price. Varmints and predators beware! Nosler's ballistic Tip Varmint Bullets are designed for violent expansion upon impact. The bullet is tipped with a poly-carbonate tip which rapidly drives back forcing the thin jacket to expand and fragment. The heavy base prevents deformation during firing and the boat-tail design increases the ballistic efficiency of the bullet.

Can a 10/22 fire this type built?
Answer:
No sir, absolutely not. A 10/22 cannot possibly chamber 22-250. Even if it could, the incomparably more powerful centerfire rifle cartridge would only succeed at blowing the rifle to pieces. You'd might as well hug a landmine! Stick to 22 LR and you'll be dandy.
