Very, VERY sturdy sling swivels. These things aren't going anywhere, even supporting the weight of a full-sized long gun. The weakest link is definitely the plastic release covers, which are threaded to make it easier to release the swivel and more difficult to do on accident. However, these are not at all necessary for them to function properly. I had an older set where they cracked, so I simply pulled them off. Still didn't have any problems removing the swivel when I wanted to, and never had an issue with them coming loose on their own. Also, these claim to be "black", but they're exactly the color pictured.
