Keep your M240 running smoothly with a brand new, unissued ammunition case. Produced by various manufacturers, these heavy duty cases dispense 7.62 X 51 NATO (.308) belt linked ammunition to a variety of machine guns including M240 and its older brother the M60.
The woodland camouflage pattern case is reinforced nylon that can stand up on its own, or collapse flat when empty. A double thick nylon carry handle and total of 4, steel "D" rings are stitched around the top of the bag for your choice of carry configurations. The lid of the case flaps over the entire top of the case and secures with 4 side release buckles to ensure weather and elements are kept out of the bag during transport. Upon use, the end portions of the lid and be opened and secured up and out of the way with stitched on hook and loop strips so the ammo belt feeds smoothly into the rifle. Dual, subdued drain holes have been installed in the bottom of the case in the event it gets completely submerged.
Each case includes a heavy duty carry strap with ample padding, and large steel snap hook at both ends. The carry strap is made of 2" wide cargo webbing and easily adjusts from 43" to 53", or be quickly disconnected via the large side release buckle.
An easily removable, nylon ramp has been stitched inside of the case in order to feed the ammo belt, but can be easily removed in minutes by simply cutting the stitching. Once removed, a standard .30 cal ammo can fits perfectly inside the bag. (not included)
Inner dimensions of this bag measure 11"long by 3" wide by 7" tall making it perfect for numerous transport applications.
