TulAmmo .223 Remington is quality ammunition specifically designed for the high volume shooter. Used in bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles and carbines, the phosphate polymer coated steel cartridge keeps its qualities under various climatic and weather conditions independent of the season and at a temperature from -20 C to +50 C (-4 F to 122 F).

TulAmmo converted from a bi-metal jacketed round to a zinc-coated round, which provides up to 10-15% better shooting accuracy. Zinc coating is a chemical method of surface treatment (galvanizing) which gives the bullet jacket a more uniform and consistent protective layer than that of machine-stamped bi-metal bullet jackets. These elements combine to provide you with some of the most accurate and affordable ammunition on the market.

Price is per 20-round box. To buy a full case, order 25 boxes.

In terms of FTF this ammo
In terms of FTF this ammo is very good. But the coating on the cases is soft and under pressure as in a 30 round magazine, they can 'stick' together and cause the follower to not be able to push the rounds to the top of the magazine. This leads to a failure to feed. This does not happen all the time and not with all magazines... But I'm sure this issue led to the creation of zinc and brass coated steel cases. I would not buy this again but I am going to try out the zinc and brass coated rounds

I switched to TulAmmo abo
I switched to TulAmmo about 1.5 years ago for my mini 14 and to this 62 grain and the FMJ version as I have a 1in7 barrel and it would occasionally disintegrate 55 grainers or keyhole them and the price makes it worth they try and the great shooting, accuracy and flawless processing makes it worthy of staying with. Highly recommend TulAmmo to anyone with a gun. Have used their ammo in 9 mike, 45 acp, 357 mag and 30.06 as well and have had great results every time.

For plinking rounds this
For plinking rounds this stuff works great. Your probably not going to win any shooting comps with this stuff, but for cheap ammo to go down range on paper or steel it works just fine. I have never had any issues with it yet and I shoot about 160 rounds every range trip on top of my reloaded .223 that I shoot for accuracy through my Bushmaster. It is a little dirty, but I do not mind.

Great priced ammo, especi
Great priced ammo, especially on sale. The new zinc plated rounds left minimal fouling and was not as dirty as some other name brands I have used. I can't reload 5.56 for enough savings for me, I will save that for my 45-70, 44 mag and such. Ammunition is also very accurate for my needs, 1' group at 100 yards is good enough for me and my rifle. Been through about 500 rounds and no FTF or operations for me in my CMMG. Packaging on the case was also very good.

I purchased this ammo in
I purchased this ammo in .308 from another vendor for my M1 Garand modified for .308. If the .223 by the same manufacturer is anything like their .308, it IS VERY DIRTY. Only a portion of the powder burned completely. After 100 rounds my M1 became difficult to fire as if the rod was sticky. When I field stripped it for cleaning it was completely black and carbonised so I took it down completely and found the gas chamber very fouled and required extensive brass brushing with cleaner.

I bought a case of this a
I bought a case of this ammo for use at my local range. I fired 100 rounds and only had one misfire. This ammo is a great deal for the price. I would not recommend using it all the time, since the casing is steel and not brass, which will lead to more wear and tear on your weapon. But if you want to save a little cash, this is one way to make that happen. You can also find this ammo priced slightly higher at your local store.
