The overwhelming majority of steel-cased ammunition is loaded with bimetal-jacketed full metal jackets: projectiles that attract a magnet, because their exteriors are mostly made of steel. This reality works against budget-minded shooters, who can’t take advantage of lower-priced steel cases because their preferred gun ranges disallow “magnetic” bullets (i.e. ones that attract a magnet).

That’s what makes Tula’s “Range Friendly” .380 ACP ammunition so special. This ammo’s cases are indeed made of steel, with zinc plating to protect them against corrosion. It is loaded with noncorrosive Berdan primers, just like all of Tula’s other steel-cased ammunition. Its 95 grain FMJ projectiles, however, are made just like any major American manufacturer’s: *steel-free*. This ammo’s lead-core, brass-jacketed projectiles cannot move a magnet – period. So long as your range is cool with steel cases, then they’ll be equally cool with Tula Range Friendly ammo!

This ammunition is packaged normally: in 50-round boxes, 20 boxes per case.
