8 yrs of extremely hard use/dropping and still work great!!
I bought this pack in 2010 and have used all 3 ever since. Practicing for 3 gun competitive shooting and speed reloads I wanted a set of plastic mags that I could drop on various surfaces and to essentially get beat up while practicing. One of them every once in a while will start jamming consistently because the plastic slightly cracked after being literally thrown on concrete while fully loaded (didn't catch a mag toss) but I just put a little lubrication inside around the crack and it works just fine until the grease gets dirty and causes the follower/spring to get caught or stick on the cracked spot. I still use the cracked one and its fine for rough practice considering what its been through. I would highly recommend these mags if you are looking for something durable and high quality for an excellent price. The individual price is basically the same as the least expensive mags on CTD but the durability and quality is as high as you can get. Green followers and a set of 3 pull bases for the bottom and 3 flat bases for whatever your preference is. The pulls are extremely handy because they really don't cause any drag on your chest rig like the external slip on types may cause and they are much more effective than the magpul mag covers that can be placed on the bottom of Pmags and used as pulls which sometimes pull right off the mag if your mag pouches are tight or not broken in for the larger thickness of older pmags. The thickness of these troy mags are only thousandths larger than aluminum USGI/Stanag mags and these mags fit nicely into a new blackhawk enhanced commando recon chest rig which has notoriously tight built in mag pockets. To be objective and find a con I personally do not like the aesthetics of these mags but that is the only con I can think of and that is really not a con and more of just an insignificant personal opinion.

These mags function perfe
These mags function perfectly. I compared them to my Gen 3 p-mags. I can fit 2 mags in my vest mag pouches were only 1 P-mag fits properly. These mags also weigh less than the p-mags. It is enough to where i feel a difference in weight. When you are full of gear and have two mags that can be trusted with your life I choose the battle mags. Main reason I can carry more ammo with me in the same amount of space.

Troy industries makes very good products overall ,but I had never heard of or seen, well, pretty much a value pack. Replacing the bottom on the mags was interesting....But overall you won't get better quality with the polymer magazines. Would buy again.
