Housed in a metal body and cushioned within silicone rubber, Trijicons Bright & Tough Night Sights feature a unique shock-resistant design. Each lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel to help evenly distribute the light while protecting the lamp from solvents and puncture. Contained within aluminum cylinders for additional protection, the lamps are mounted on silicone rubber cushions to withstand shock and heavy recoil. Trijicon Bright and Tough Night Sights are three-dot iron sights that increase night-fire shooting accuracy by as much as five times over conventional sights. Equally impressive, they do so with the same speed as instinctive shooting and without the need for batteries.

Fits:
Sig Sauer P238

I see one fundamental fla
I see one fundamental flaw in this sight. I install many sights and this one is only going to let the customer down if they don't heed some simple advice. The factory sites have no cavity in the bottom of the sight while the Trijicon does. The spring for the plunger is narrow enough to fit in this cavity and that means that it reduces the plunger spring tension that is required to shoot the pistol (good luck getting it to shoot, seriously, it will not shoot reliably in this condition). It's just poor engineering. The second issue is that removal of the sight with the spring in the cavity guarantees the plunger spring to be sheared off. Trijicon really dropped the ball on this one. A simple fix is to stuff the cavity in the bottom of the sight, but why wouldn't Trijicon just make the product to match the engineering of the original sight? I hope this helps out people that think of getting this site for a handgun that has a plunger spring held in place by the rear sight.
