Will this fit Ruger Max 9 ?

With the correct adapter plate, this will fit.
Will it work properly on an ar15?
Answer:
You will need to add a picatinny rail mount to this to mount it on an AR. This optic is typically mounted on pistols or in conjunction with another optic, such as the Trijicon ACOG. You may find a slightly larger optic preferable on an AR15 platform. I recommend item # SCP-857-095.
