Dual-illumination is provided by tritium for low light or night time use and fiber optics add any available additional light to brighten the reticle to appropriate levels to match any situation.

The TA648-A ACOG reticle features an amber chevron aiming point. It also incorporates a bullet drop compensator (BDC) with additional aiming points estimated for trajectory of the 5.56mm M855 out to 800 meters.
